Young people are the most affected by unemployment in Brazil, with a rate of 27.1% in the first quarter of 2020 among 18 to 24-year-olds.
That’s far above the countrys’s overall average of 12.2% in the period.
And what would be the possible solution for this immense, creative, willing, diverse, resilient workforce?
Did you know that the youth in Brazil today is the largest in history?
That’s right. there are more than 47 milion people between 15 and 29 years old. And what is the profile of these young people? What is their education?
around 87% os students who graduate from high school come from public schools, but only 18% of young people uo to 25 years of age pursue a degree since 74% of undergraduate admissions are available only in the private education network, with only 26% in the public system.
